Jassiel has also played a large role in pushing the BlackRock brand forward by working closely with Kelli Hill - the Vice President of Global Marketing. He has created custom animations based off of Kelli’s sketches and has even story-boarded out the shotlist of BlackRock’s newest video series: Quick Question.
Jassiel also works closely with Stevie Manns - the Vice President, Podcast Producer for The Bid. He has mixed & cleaned audio at a pro-level as well as animated motion graphics for a plethora of podcast episodes. He has also worked in De-Script to transcribe and edit podcast episodes prior to launch.
Lastly, Jassiel McBride is now currently the BlackRock in-house TikTok Videographer. He has used his knowledge in cinematography, design and pro-level audio to elevate the quality of BlackRock’s TikTok videos, resulting in improved viewership and company prestige.

In the year 2185, the world is distinguished by two races – the Visionaries and the Dead-eye slaves. The Visionary race is the next step in human evolution. They have unique eyes which endows them with special abilities. Humans unable to evolve are slaves to the Visionaries because of their powerless eyes. These Dead-eye slaves open rebellion against the Visionaries.

A love letter to summer in New York City featuring the world famous Rockettes in one of the city’s most iconic venues, Radio City Music Hall.
This was probably one of the largest and most costly productions I’ve helped produce to date. All video was shot in RAW 2K on four different Arri Alexas, armed to dollys, gibs, a steadycam, and a crane. Creative director across all MSG brands: Alonzo Davilla entrusted me as the sole Video Editor & Colorist behind the entire production. That was a HUGE responsibility, one that I’m proud to have delivered on.

Sweet Shadow is a Kickstarter funded live action/ animated hybrid film directed by Jassiel McBride and Richard Seneque.
In the pre-production phase I took helm of art directing all visual aspects including: style framing, story boarding, and shot listing. During the production phase I directed the cinematography and crew while Richard guided that actors through their scenes. During post-production I directed a team of eight incredibly talented artists including: animators, rotoscopers, compositors and background artists. It was a massive undertaking but together, my co-director and I accomplished a one of a kind film and visual aesthetic that’s sure to wow audiences.

When I first graduated from Parsons, I couldn’t find an illustration job to save my life! (That was my college major btw). So I started applying for video jobs. I found a job opening for a Spanish speaking video editor position based out of Norwalk Connecticut. I got the job!
There I learned how a real-time kitchen film studio set works. I was an understudy for an amazingly talented lead video editor who taught me the ins and outs of the Avid editing software. The oldest industry standard for broadcast and team editing. I edited over 150 how-to recipe videos for one of their biggest clients- Kraft. I also aided in the Spanish translation for voice over artists at their built in sound recording studio.
